Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place Empty
PostSubject: Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place   Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place EmptyFri Oct 23, 2015 9:22 pm

The Al-Sayf brothers’ and Altair’s place was stationed in a tall apartment building, not far from the university. They lived on the second floor. It was large enough to provide space for the three of them comfortably. As you walk through the door, you see a kitchenette to the right, a dinner table close by. The fridge-freezer contained mostly healthy items, most of the cupboards were the same except for some junk items on the top shelves.

The main room follows all the way to the back where the lounge area is. This contains; a medium sized flat screen TV upon a unit, with a game console set up beneath. The area also includes; a sofa, a chair, a couple of bean bag seats, a coffee table, a laundry basket in the corner, and to the right of the TV unit stands a small desk with a printer atop and note board upon the wall. This area is mainly used for reminders and marking off important dates. A sense of organisation was clear, whether appreciated or not.

The first bedroom was closest to the door on the left, this is the smallest bedroom out of the three. It was simple, not particularly clean, but not untidy. A double bed sat in the center of the room, a small wardrobe and chest of drawers to the left wall, a chair and a unit to the opposite wall with various books and stationary strewn across it, and a laptop. A door on the right wall leads into a small bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower. This room clearly wasn’t lived in often save for studying and occasional sleep.

The second bedroom was next to the first, and behind the lounge area. This room is slightly more untidy, a waste basket is propped next to the door, overfilled with scrunched up paper and junk food wrappings. The double bed in the center of the room is half unmade with clothing laid on top. Nightstands with drawers sat on either side of the bed, a double door wardrobe to the right wall, a chair and unit with a second-hand mac computer, minimal books, dslr camera, and a lamp sat atop. A door on the left wall leads into the shared bathroom. This room was well lived in, and the person who resided must be well looked after.

The third and final bedroom was furthest from the door, on the right near the lounge area. Upon entering, we can see this is clearly the tidiest and well-kept of the bedrooms. To the left of the door is a patio door leading out to a balcony where the left wall would be. A double bed sat in the center of the room, nightstands either side, next to the door on the left side was another chair unit with a laptop and stationary set on top, and small tool box underneath. Next to this was a book case, almost filled with a variety of books, including a few for study. A bathroom opened through a door on the right wall containing; a long double sink unit, a toilet, and a bath with shower extension. A door to the left of the bathroom leads into a walk in wardrobe

Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place Empty
PostSubject: Re: Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place   Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place EmptySun Oct 25, 2015 5:07 pm

Returning from the local shop, Malik hanged up his scarf and black double-breasted coat. Underneath he wore a well fitted black V-neck jumper and slim fitting black stonewash jeans with black work boots...It was obvious he wasn’t too fond of colour.

Slipping his boots off, he entered the kitchen area and placed the bag of shopping on the counter, where he began emptying the contents into their rightful homes. Putting the milk into the fridge, he muttered to himself; he couldn’t even drink the damned stuff, but some lazy bastards didn’t bother to pick any up yesterday when he had reminded them… Pretty normal really.

Finally he poured himself out a black coffee and sat down at the table, unfolding the newspaper he’d just bought. Slowly he turned the pages, taking in anything of interest and mumbling something about idiots on occasion… He liked to keep up with what was going on in the world and taking note of what certain organisations were up to… Or rather what they wanted society to believe they were up to. You could never read too deeply into most of it, but if you knew that, you could generally get a good grasp of what was going on.

Lifting his sleeve slightly, he checked the time, it would be a pain if Altair or Kadar overslept, but they could have 10 more minutes… Just enough time to finish his coffee and newspaper in peace.

PostSubject: Re: Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place   Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place EmptySun Oct 25, 2015 5:39 pm

A tuft of messy light brown hair peered out from under heavy warm quilts, soon followed by golden brown eyes as Altair pulled his covers down, expression blank as always. Sliding slowly out of bed, he slipped a plain grey v neck vest on, pulling it down over his boxers. He made his way out of his room, instantly spotting Malik sat at the table.

Shuffling across the floor, he opened the fridge, getting out the newly bought milk, he pulled out some random cereal from the cupboard and got a bowl, making up his simple breakfast option. Grumbling to himself, he glanced over to the other man before starting on his cereal, grabbing his phone to listen out on the radio for anything interesting.

He found mornings to be annoying, but in days like this, it was somewhat peaceful waking up to a quiet apartment.

Glancing up from the newspaper, Malik noted Altair using the milk… “You’re welcome.” There was no way the bastard was getting away without some form of sarcastic comment. “I was debating applying for child benefit…” He sat straight face, staring down at the newspaper on the table, looking disinterested.

Looking over, he grunted quietly, waiting till the news had finished before finally paying attention to the other."Hm, I appreciate it, you know this." He didn't quite understand what he'd done as far as using the milk that had specifically been bought for that purpose, but then Malik was sometimes easier to piss off than usual."Maybe it'll help with the kid that's currently attached to us."

Sighing, he out his bowl in the sink to soak and moved to stand slightly behind the over, eyes piercing into the back of the other's head.

"You mean my brother?" Still, Malik didn't bother to look up. This article had his undivided attention, it was infuriating and he couldn't stop reading.. Those Templar bastards were trying to extend their reaches AND they were getting away with it. They weren't even really being that discreet, but unfortunately, it seemed to be working out for them.. The general public seemed to be buying it.

"Tch..." He folded the newspaper up and threw it on the table... Turning, he faced Altair.. "What? I'm not going to get you dressed. Wake Kadar up, or he's going to be late.." Going over to the counter, he threw some bread into the toaster and poured out a milky coffee with one sugar.

Maria Thorpe was running late, she was supposed to be picking up someone for the photography lecturer, some new guy. She ran up the stairs and and found the door with the same number as written on her paper and hammered on it a few times.
"open up! c'mon!"

He peered over the other's shoulder to get a look at what was being read, knowing it was probably useful to the Creed, knowing Malik. "Mmm.", he nodded in agreement.

Rolling his eyes, Altair sighed, shuffling off towards the room opposite Malik's."Yeah...the twerp." Practically slamming the door open, he stared into Kadar's room."Get up, Al-Sayf, your daddy is calling."

He made his way back into his room after, throwing on some black distressed jeans, and a dark grey zip up hoodie with a breast pocket and light grey hood. He heard the knocking."Get the fucking door and tell them to fuck off."

Grimacing, Malik grunted under his breath… “Fucking idiots…” Like hell Kadar would answer the door in time. Abruptly he marched to the door and swung it open; it took every fibre of his being not to tell whoever it was to fuck off, until he noticed a young woman… “Yes?.. Can I help?”

"err, hi there. Kadar? I'm Maria from the Photography department, i'm your escort to the orientation meeting."
She stuck out her hand with a smile.
She was nothing much to look at, short with brown hair pulled back and an average figure. but had a nice smile and bright eyes.

Rolling out of bed, Kadar cracked open his bright blue eyes, glancing around the room quickly, noticing Altair just before he walked off, probably to talk to his brother. He hurriedly gathered up his books and camera, throwing the items unceremoniously into his backpack. Picking up a bundle of clothes off his chair, he shrugged into them, ocassionally stumbling as he pulled his grey skinny jeans on. His attire was made up of said jeans, a white long sleeve v neck, a blue vest hoodie, and pair of blue converse.

He rushed out of his room, dashing past Altair's room and over to the kitchenette. He was too distracted to notice the lady and his brother by the door, he snagged up the piece of toast from the toaster, not bothering to butter it as he shoved it into his mouth.

Altair peered out from his room."Charming as always.", he muttered

It took Malik a moment to register what was going on.. She thought he was Kadar, easy mistake when you don’t know the person, but she surely knew Kadar was a first year. “Lady, you’re mistaken..” He peered down at her hand… “I’m not Kadar, do I look like a first year?..” He sighed and pushed the door open and walked away.

“Kadar! Get your arse moving, you’re making people late…”

"O, errr i'm sorry"
she was a bit dissapointed that this tall dark and hot wasn't who she was supposed to collect, but she now knew where they lived and could visit again.
She waited a moment before waving at a moving guy
"C'mon, we're really late now, follow me!"
she took off at a jog without looking back.

As he dashed past the older Al-Sayf, Kadar smiled impishly back towards his brother."It's fine, we're good!" He followed the strange, but attractive lady out the door, grabbing his bag. This was possibly going to be the most awkward first day ever, and he couldn't wait.

Once the mini Al-Sayf, little twerp, boy wonder....had left, Altair gathered his own belongings and made his way out of his own room, glancing over at the other man."Well that was....something."

"Maybe I can sort myself out now..."

Altair grunted in agreement. "I guess. As long as the kid don't get into any trouble, keep his shit together. Hopefully find someone else to stalk, would get him out’ the flat more.” He watched Malik closely, eyes burning into the other. Shrugging his shoulders, he opened up the fridge, getting out a couple left over meals to take out with them.

”Better hurry. You’re running late, Mr Al-Sayf”.

“He’s just fond of you, Altair.. Don’t ask me why; I don’t know.” Malik tidied a few things from the counter before checking his watch at the other man’s comment.. “Damnit…” Yet again he didn’t get around to having breakfast.

Usually he’d walk the reasonably short distance to his class, but since it was getting on in time, he grabbed his keys “Want a lift?” He pointed to the helmets and leather jackets… Today, he’d forgo the leather trousers, but wouldn’t be making a habit of it.. If he crashed today, then he was surely cursed.

"As long as its not for the same reasons as his brother...", he muttered, packing the food in both their bags and tossing some fruit in, he shoved an apple in the other's hand. "Eat." He hated when the other was cranky AND hungry, so at least maybe a snack would help for now. They could always grab Malik something more substantial later.

Picking up both their bags, he nodded. Might as well accept the offer before the older changed his mind. He wouldn't admit it vocally, especially to Malik, but he sort of liked taking the bike.

It would be idiotic to deny the obviousness of Kadar's crush on his boyfriend.. But it was awkward enough without giving it a voice... He could understand why, even if he'd never admit it; Altair was smart, ambitious, headstrong, confident, great company and the hottest person Malik had ever met.. Even if he wanted to put him on mute sometimes... No, none of this was going to be voice anytime soon.

Sliding his jacket on, he then took the apple and picked up his helmet, he'd manage to eat it on the way down to his motorbike... "Come on then... I'll give you a lift back later if you need.." He headed towards the door.

Altair knew the younger Al-Sayf had looked up to him for a while, maybe even more than that. He didn't really care to think too much on it, Malik probably knew, not that either of them cared. Kadar was a nice enough kid, and hopefully this time in University would help him grow up a bit more, maybe make some more friends and find interest elsewhere. To be honest, he had never been keen on having the brat stop with them but where else was safest then beside his brother, he supposed.

He nodded, grunting slightly."Thanks, might do.", he followed the other out, bags and the spare helmet in hand.

PostSubject: Re: Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place   Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place EmptyThu Nov 05, 2015 12:41 am

Deciding to walk home, Altair set off in the direction of his apartment, stopping off at a shop on the way for snacks, more bread and something to make for dinner. He figured Malik would most likely give Kadar a lift, he'd catch up to them later. For now, he just wanted to get back and mull over what information he'd been given from this evening's meeting.

He couldn't quite comprehend the idea of his cousin being involved in all this, none the less he would do anything to protect the Creed, no matter who got in his way. Hopefully he could discuss some sort of plan with Malik, e knew the older man would understand.

He unlocked his door, carrying his shopping in and flicking a light on. He removed his hoodie, hanging it up for the time being. After everything was put away, he sat on the couch near the TV.

About ten minutes later, the door opened again and Malik entered with a bag and two helmets in hand, clearly alone. Placing everything in their rightful homes, he noticed Altair on the sofa... "Ah, good, you're back." Once he'd removed his jacket and hanged it up, he joined the younger man; getting comfortable beside him.

"Quite the meeting, don't you think?" This was his way of judging Altair's mood and opinion on the matter.

PostSubject: Re: Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place   Altaïr, Malik, and Kadar's Place EmptyFri Nov 06, 2015 6:20 pm

Altair didn't look up as the door opened, he knew it would probably be Malik, and thank god it sounded as if the younger Al-Sayf hadn't joined him. He stared into his cup of coffee, taking a sip. The kettle had recently been boiled and was still steaming. He watched as the older man set things down, looking up slightly as he watched the other sit.

Once Malik finished speaking, Altair shrugged. "It was fine. We can make out a plan now we have more information. Ensure no one crosses the brotherhood, it is our responsibility." He hesitated slightly, not making eye contact with the other.

"I do not understand....how Desmond is involved in all of this, but we can't let it compromise us." He hated to admit weakness, but he truly was worried for Desmond. Though he wouldn't admit it, not even to Malik.

“No, you are right, we won’t let it compromise us..” As per Malik’s usual self, he spoke sternly, allowing for no argument on the subject.

“We will do what we must, and we must also remember that he has not been stated to be an enemy..” His voice softened, trying in his own way to reassure the other man. “We are only asked to monitor him, for whatever purpose.” Altair didn’t need to express his concern about his cousin openly, Malik could relate it to Kadar; had he been asked to monitor his brother, he’d have certainly been conflicted… Not to mention, he knew his lover well and as stoic as he came across to others, his heart was in the right place.. Not that he’d ever tell him that.

“Try not to dwell on it, Altair..” He faced the other man.. “We have others to focus on, too."

Grunting slightly, he nodded to the other. This wouldn't change how they worked. Malik had always been stern with his words whether intended or not.

He glanced towards the other now, shrugging slightly. "You are right. We'll do what is necessary." He paused. "I won't, Malik." This was no different to any other mission. He knew the other was concerned, but he could handle himself, he'd always been alone before meeting the other,  even when they had met he'd remained at a comfortable distance until his curiosity got the better of him.

"We'll focus all our attention on this. Everything is permitted..." He stared. at Malik now, his hard expression softening for a millisecond. "Abbas, De Sable, and Desmond...."
