Mechanics Work Studio Garage

An area for all students to complete any practical work and side projects. This area is mainly used by Mechanics and Engineering majors.

The room is a spacious work shop made up with tools and machinery from wall to wall. The floor space is mostly tidy, all tools away as to ensure health and safety standards are met. All work stations are set up but clean for the start of the year.

Turning on the lights, Kidd made his way over to his workshop, dropping his bag and tool box on the desk. He glanced over at the engine he had started repairing, a few spare tools lay around it. Shit. He had better clean that up before anyone else came in. As much as he liked to get his hands dirty and spread his work out, he was better off moving that mess. He didn't want that guy on his case, especially if he was in a grump.

Finding the lights already turned on, Malik slung his bag, jacket and helmet out the way. He kind of missed this place over the break, it was nice having somewhere to focus and work on things properly..

“Hey…” He spotted Kidd and gave a nod.. Luckily for the other man, Malik’s mood had somewhat improved throughout the day. Unfortunately he couldn’t stay long with the meeting being held in a few, but he could at least sort out a few bits ready for tomorrow.

“Want a coffee?” Might as well fit a caffeine fix in too, he had a feeling the meeting would be long.

Kidd looked up from what he was doing, glancing at the other man for a moment before returning to what he was doing, he only had a short while left to work. "Aye, thanks. Welcome back, Al-Sayf", he smirked at the other, wiping his hands in his work suit. He set all his tools away, dusting off and getting out a couple of cups.

Having checked and arranged a few items for the following the day, Malik took the cups and finished off making the two coffees. Leaning on a work bench, he turned and faced the other guy.. "I have a feeling we'll be needing this.." He quickly looked at his watch.. "We'll have to start getting ready to leave in a bit.." He was both looking forward to the meeting and completely dreading it; he wanted to know what was going on, but he was expecting it to be worse than others realised.

After he'd finished packing his tools away, Kidd nodded in agreement, taking his black coffee. "I have a feelin' there's more to all this than what they make out." Tapping his fingers on his work surface, he sighed, finishing off his coffee quick and pulling the top half of his suit down for now, tying it at his waist, he wore a black vest underneath. Washing off his hands, he gathered up his bag.

"It's nice to know I'm not the only one that thinks that.." Malik nodded as he put his now empty mug on the side. Usually he'd make more of an effort to tidy up after himself, but he didn't mind it so much in the studio as long as everything was easy to find.. Yet, still, his standard were higher than most others that worked in here.

Gathering his belonging back up, he headed out to the front of the building and waited for Kidd. He didn't mind this guy, he was usually pretty respectful and easy to get along with... Sharp too.
